Maybe I should... I don't want to be annoying. But at this point, does it really matter?

Did all of the dean's awards go out in one batch? I haven't heard anything since submitting my essay, and I am assuming that this is not good news.

After living in SF and working in the Castro, I don't even notice these things anymore.
Gender is a construct, etc.
I do love me some Judith Butler.
+1

I wrote my honors thesis on representation of gender in the early modern theater. I used quite a bit of Gender Trouble in it.

Do three updates normally mean that a decision (admit/waitlist/deny) is coming, or does it preface only acceptances?

If I'm not mistaken, it means a decision is imminent. Does not necessarily mean acceptance.
Basically, I'm in the same boat that you are.

What's the consensus on how we hear? Via email? Dings/WLs via snail mail?

Did anyone else's status stick on "Verifying materials for completion" for an extended amount of time? It has almost been a month for me.

I think every response comes via email. I know acceptances do.

Mine took over a month.

Just had my status update to complete (all boxes checked for supplements on the online status check).
Submitted 1/14, Updated 2/20.
Any idea how long it takes to get a decision once your status is updated?

I'm pretty close in numbers, 168 / 3.45, with a LOI in the app.

I just had mine today (over Skype) and it was pretty casual. General Why Law/Why Cornell and the type of questions you might expect in a job interview. Pretty casual and no "gotchas."

Good luck!

ETA: Oh, and they said to expect 30-45 minutes but I got mine done within 10 minutes. We'll see if that's good or bad in a week, I suppose.

Also interested on when scholarship info comes out. I'm not expecting much, but I should get something with my numbers (3.6/169).

Congrats to recent admits.

Any NYC-based people going to the March 8 ASD? If so, driving? Flying?

I'd be driving but I know there's a bus to Ithaca (very pricey IMO but still beats a flight in time / cost) from NYC daily.

Schollys come annoyingly late in the cycle I believe.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
