LSP shows Michigan as being the most heavily slanted toward LSAT over GPA of the t14. However, what you've noticed appears accurate this cycle. Looking at LSN graphs, I can see that MI has waitlisted people all the way up to 180 lsat (with a 3.4x GPA no less). They look a bit unpredictable in their waitlist tactics over the past few years, sometimes WLing high gpa, other times high lsatdk8 wrote:anecdotally, it seems michigan is the school you want to apply to if you have a low lsat but respectable gpa. Seems like tons of below median LSATs are being accepted.

Plz send bighead a 67k scholly. Bighead loves your school and will make an awesome addition to the class of 2013. Wolverines are also his favorite animal.

I'm going to withdraw my application (or reject my offer?) very soon. Hopefully it will go to one of y'all.

I am 99% sure I won't be attending law school in 2010. I decided to work another year, save more money, retake LSAT, hopefully get a higher score, and reapply next year.poprox wrote:seriously? Same here. GPA slightly below the median, LSAT slightly over the 75th. I'm submitting my app tonight, just polishing my Why Mich right now. I also got the fee waiver with a note from Dean Z saying they love my UG.

Lol, just like I said, it will be the miracle of the year (at least my year) if I get into Chicago. I really don't care that much anymore since I've decided to work another year. I would withdraw my application from Chicago if I hadn't paid that application fee. I paid my money so I demand an answer.jc1988 wrote:i am willing to give you a scholarship if u get into chicagoApple Tree wrote:I am 99% sure I won't be attending law school in 2010. Honestly, I don't even know why Michigan accepted me. I'm pretty ordinary and my stats sure aren't outstanding.

Midnight EST I assume?
I'm not sure that's right. There's a couple of time I've been up at 1-2 AM EST and the status check page had 'yesterday's' date (even though I'm west coast and the date was still accurate from my chair.)

Yeah, I think it updates early in the morning. Maybe 8:00 EST or something like that.Vegas_Rebel wrote:Midnight EST I assume?

AFAIK, she only said that it updated once per day, didn't think she gave a specific time. I pulled a couple all-nighters last semester, I really seem to remember it switching over to the new day sometime around 8-9 in the morning (I am sad).rockchalk86 wrote:I thought dean z said midnight.
