"The Committee on Admissions has reviewed your application and has placed your name in a special group within our Preferred Waiting List."
Does this mean special preferred waitlist or preferred waitlist?

You're on the special preferred WL, which is higher than preferred WL and regular WL.meg2017 wrote:"The Committee on Admissions has reviewed your application and has placed your name in a special group within our Preferred Waiting List."

So for how many of you will the bump from 14 to 15 really make a difference in your decision to attend GULC?

Not much of a difference, but I did get $$ from UT and nothing yet from Georgetown, so it may make my decision feel just a little bit easier.Jonesy2020 wrote:So for how many of you will the bump from 14 to 15 really make a difference in your decision to attend GULC?

hi everyone! I was unfortunately waitlisted earlier this cycle, and asked for a supplemental recommendation from one of my managers. He really wants to tailor it to the school itself, and wanted me to send him a list of attributes of what Georgetown is looking for. I have some ideas, but I thought that this would be a best place to ask for some advice! Any and all help appreciated

I've been waiting for the scholarship feeler email and was planning to call FinAid today to ask about it.
Just an FYI that their website says the Law Center is closed today except for emergency personnel.

How long after completing your application did you guys get your interview invitation email? Or did a lot of you get your admission decision without ever hearing anything about an interview? The suspense is killing me

I received my invitation two weeks after I went complete, but interviewing isn't a prerequisite to admission. A lot of people have gotten in without an interview!jfo13 wrote:How long after completing your application did you guys get your interview invitation email? Does this mean special preferred waitlist or preferred waitlist?
Can you explain? What do these different WLs really mean? How many people on the extra super special one get in? And if you're just on the regular one, is it basically just a soft no, or at best a 'maybe we'll take you last minute at full freight?'

So I never received the feeler email and I still haven't heard anything about merit aid yet. Is anybody else in the same boat? Everybody's talk of scholarship money is starting to worry me.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
