I think we'd be seeing some dings and waitlists by now if they had made a decision on the 6th. I doubt all of us held applicants were accepted.

Also: How many of us were held? 20? 50? 100?

Yup, I'm still waiting.

Submitted late November. Interviewed early January. Held early/mid January. Had the three consecutive updates last week.

Yep. I submitted mid November, I had my interview right before Christmas, a date change early Jan and nothing since.

Held jan 6th and I have the same feb 28th deadline. I think all holds do.

If DC folk with a last date change of 2/6 have not yet received letters, it might be safe to assume that said letters were not send out on 2/6.

No letter today in DC, so I'm pretty confident in saying that 2/6 was not a letter mail date type date change.

Maybe. I don't live in DC but, I do know that I've waited 3-4 days for an in-city letter to arrive before.

Apparently they already knocked quite a bit of people out of the running about 2 weeks ago. I have been held for over two months

I submitted early November and interviewed mid-November. Been holding since early December. I know they sent out a wave of dings and WLs but I don't think those were held apps. Can anyone tell us that they've been held and haven't received last week's triple update? If not I'm going to assume they were just screwing with us.

I was held after my interview request update in early November and did not get the triple updates last week. I got an update today, putting me at 2/10, but that was my first movement since being held.

Hopefully we all here something soon. The fact that they are starting to mess with us this early in February could make for a brutal few weeks.

I think this is one of the questions where we all just kinda shrug. Seems like a good theory, but who the hell knows.

Held in December. Wrote LOCI with new LoR two weeks ago. Recieved confirmation from admissions that they've added it to the file and they even wrote a thank you to my new recommender for the late addition to my app.

However -- no status update movement since December.

Not to doubt the efficiency of USPS, but how long it did take for some of you to receive confirmation of additional materials submitted? I.e. LOCI, new LoR, etc.
