Getting one from a WL withdrawal would be so thug. With all the WL movement last cycle though I feel like May and later in this cycle could be even more nuts, and I have no qualms about saying that we would all love to have you w/ us!Lavitz wrote:So what you're saying is: I should try to withdraw from the Chicago waitlist.ChampagnePapi wrote:Last cycle someone tried to withdraw from Chicago and got a Ruby
I would like some $ from Cornell tho. I'm too poor to go to ASD so please don't take my canceling as a lack of interest!

I got a travel subsidy and I literally couldn't find a way to get there for even close to that amount, so I declined it.helix23 wrote:

Yeah their travel subsidies are TTT. Gotta pay people more to get them to fly out to Ithaca.

Is everyone else having trouble loading the Cornell 2012-2013 graph on LSN? 2011-2012 works for me as expected, but this cycle's isn't.

Deferred mid December and still no word. Sent in a LOCI early January. Should I throw an iMisto-esque freakout fit yet? That'll get me in, right?

In the same boat, friend. I think some of us deferred candidates might actually have to wait till April after all.KanyeShrug wrote:Deferred mid December and still no word. Sent in a LOCI early January. Should I throw an iMisto-esque freakout fit yet? That'll get me in, right?

Almost all of us are still waiting, sadly. I was deferred in November.

I am probably going to write a WHY CORNELL, I was their a while back for Mock Trial...did well in the tournament. When i was there i stopped by admissions, they were closed. Cornell wrote me a email couple of weeks ago telling me that they would get to me on admissions by Mid March approximately. Said 30 days. Should I write "why Cornell" and send it off to them.

pretty sure cornell dean has explicitly said he doenst care about why cornell in a tls interview somewehre. dont have it handy. i think they include the 3 line short answer on the app to prevent ppl from writing entire essays.

Do we have any idea about the number of people they take off the reserve list? Sorry if this has already been addressed ITT but I'm at work and can't find it.
