Just got the acceptance call. I'm in shock to say the least. Had completely written them off. I had pretty much made a decision too. This might open it back up even with the hefty cost. Just wow ha.

Note: Was a faculty review person. Was in review since 10/27 with no change

With all this talk of Berkeley's "holistic" approach, it seems fairly predictable this cycle. If you look at Berk's graph on LSN, you can literally draw a straight line dividing the admits and rejects. There seems to be a fairly clear cutoff. I also see few outliers (ie nobody with a 180 or 175 being rejected).
