Thx. Do have any clue when are the admits supposed to make a decision?

The recent admits may have a different deposit deadline, but my knowledge is that the first seat deposit is due TODAY, while the second (final) deposit is due June 15.

Good morning.  I write with an update -- now that our April 30th first seat deposit deadline for those holding offers has passed.
 
  Our admissions committee is meeting this afternoon and tomorrow morning to review wait-listed candidates.  We anticipate making a number of offers of admission within the next several days.
 
  I will be in touch by this Friday -- either with an offer of admission or with another update.
 
  Thank you for your patience throughout this process.

Got the same email last Friday. Called Mr dugas yesterday. He asked if I was still interested in their school and what was my current situation. No congratulations, though. He said decision would be made sometime later this week.

I got the waitlist update email too and got really nervous/excited. Then I looked at lawschoolnumbers and saw how many crazy awesome people with way better numbers than me were also waitlisted and felt silly.

Same here, but I'm assuming many of those individuals were yield-protected and are currently T-6 secure. So (hopefully) a lot of those little yellow dots withdrew from/declined UVAs WL. Also, I'm staking my hopes on UVA struggling to maintain that 170 LSAT median given their large class size, declining # of test-takers, and 40% VA resident requirement...

Maybe I'm being delusional, but it feels nice

Are you a VA resident? If so, I'm surprised you weren't already admitted with your numbers...

I wish. I meant that it must be difficult to maintain such high medians when you have to draw 40% of your student body from only one state (when said state is not CA or TX).

Looks like I'll be going to UVA in the fall. I managed to go from paying sticker to getting a scholarship over the phone today. Pending a HUGE scholarship offer from Duke, things are pointing towards CVille for me.

Received a quick email response from Cordel so probably not right now but agreed it is nerve racking. I can't say enough good things about UVA Admissions, regardless of if I'm admitted
