Haha, I think they're pretty good for Penn, but I kind of worry that maybe I did something weird on my app. I'm really hoping for SOME scholarship money, so I'm concerned about it.

Others with later dates have already been Accepted, Waitlisted, and Held. I have a 175/4.0...what do you think they're doing over there? Any reason why I may have been passed up, yet not at least 'Held'?

You should probably not worry about Penn unless you have a compelling reason to be in Philly since your numbers make HYS and big scholarships at CCN good possibilities. There's a good chance you will be WLed at Penn unless you convince them you'll actually attend. If you get in, you're going to be a really strong candidate for the Levy.

Just wait and see first. There's a good chance you'll get in, but Penn does WL some candidates with numbers as high as yours. Did you submit one of the supplemental essays/a Why Penn? If you do get waitlisted, then write a LOCI.

I had seen some speculation on here that legal writing would change from ungraded to graded and electives 1L would be taken away. The info in the packet says that there will still be 1L electives, so I guess legal writing is staying ungraded (for now).

Just to follow up on this (if anyone else cares haha), it does say legal writing is still graded pass/fail, so they haven't decided to change it (yet).

I wrote the art/literature essay. I had a great topic for it, and I figured that so few people would choose that option that it might make my app stand out (hopefully in a good way).
