I guess I can give up on getting a call today. Should've sent in that grade request sooner.

No. You can still get waitlisted off of a hold. Basically you've just been thrown back into the pool, but you should write a LOCI if you really want to get in.justadude55 wrote:justadude55 wrote:are held and waitlist the same thing at penn?

How are prospects on the Penn WL? I got WL'ed today and I'd like to know generally what others opinions are about this. TIA.

+1 ... I am going to accept the position on the waitlist and submit a new transcript and a new LOR ... Once the new LOR is submitted to LSAC how do I send it over to UPenn? Thanks in advanceSemperLegal wrote:WL by email on Friday

It should automatically be transmitted by LSAC. You can always contact UPenn to advise that you have submitted a new LOR, and to ask for confirmation once they have received it.kmac01523 wrote:+1 ... Re: Penn 2011
I got waitlisted yesterday. I'm going to write an LOCI and send an additional LoR. I have 2 LORs to choose from, one of which is from a prof that got his Masters and PhD at Penn. Would a letter from a Penn alumnus matter or should I just go with whichever I think is strongest?

Re: Penn 2011
I've been UCR since 1/3 and I'm starting to get a bit nervous. I think my numbers are in the neighborhood (3.8x and 173), and I'm wondering if I should send a LOCI to show them that I'm really interested in Penn. I didn't write a "Why Penn" or anything. Any consensus on whether or not this is a good idea?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
