Anyone else still at 3/4?
I'm a 167 splitter, so not really expecting much.

What magic, disappearing writing to people keep referring to?
The stuff where it says like Bio/Address/Demographics, Status, etc?

3/4 or 3/14? I was under the impression that 167 splitters weren't looked at until the 11th.snapdragon wrote:Anyone else still at 3/4?

I am currently at 3/14 with a 167 split.

I'm totally expecting a "167 LSAT D-Day" where everyone gets a decision and this thread spirals into madness.

The Deposit deadline is April 1 at WUSTL. I wonder if AdComs will grant a few days extension for students who are waiting for other offers.

Unlikely, since the first deposit is refundable.neonx wrote:The Deposit deadline is April 1 at WUSTL. I wonder if AdComs will grant a few days extension for students who are waiting for other offers.

Right below the gigantic "Washington University," there was some writing which said something along the lines of, "You may see your compete dates change from time to time, blah blah, etc etc." That is gone for many of us, and we have no idea what it means.law4vus wrote:What magic, disappearing writing to people keep referring to?

3/4. Who knows? I'd like to see if I get in, but I don't know if WUSTL at sticker is really going to change my current thought process that much.law4vus wrote:3/4 or 3/14? I was under the impression that 167 splitters weren't looked at until the 11th.snapdragon wrote:Anyone else still at 3/4?

This wait for emory/wustl is killing me- I feel like any planning I do for the schools I have gotten into might be just a waste of time. What is the advantage of waiting until the deadline for these schools? Better idea of withdrawals? Better idea of deposits?

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
Well in the case of WUSTL, it seems like they get out offers to their early / strongest applicants first, because with those applicants they are not in a position of power. For more borderline people, they must know the yield will be higher, and therefore can afford to take their time.Sandro wrote:This wait for emory/wustl is killing me- I feel like any planning I do for the schools I have gotten into might be just a waste of time. I've been looking at all the urm acceptances on LSN, and it seems like almost none of those accepted would be likely to attend. That gives me a glimmer of hope, but I know they'll take their time. They could probably accept me off the wait list in late July and I would be pretty likely to attend; provided I wasn't locked into a lease somewhere.

Could be. Perhaps every new complete date I get is simply them adding more to the scholarship package, i.e. "Don't send out the acceptance email yet Bob, let's add another 25k first. Just to be safe."Sandro wrote:167 splitter still sitting at 3/14 - maybe this means they liked me application the first time they picked it up so much and a full scholarship is on the way ?

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
It depends on the school and your goals. I turned down T14s because they were hella expensive and they were in regions I had no interest in (CG). But if I could have gotten into Michigan or Northwestern? Then yeah, it would probably have been worth it. I know that is a lot of money, but the chance to double your job prospects is pretty huge.JenDarby wrote:To me, this answer is still yes, though I know the general TLS population disagrees with this....(HYS, ok fine)Arbiter213 wrote: Is it foolish to take 60k a year for a T14, though!
