I just sent in a $300 deposit at another school.

UCLA is still my number one. If only I knew how they felt about me...

Actually UCLA is the only school I applied. I bumped my LSAT and got so disappointed, was not going to apply any at the begining. Going to take LSAT again this October.

Um...I just got a voicemail from Dean Schwartz about 30 minutes ago asking me to call him back. I got the WL email last week and sent the wait list response form back saying that I did NOT wish to join the wait list. Any idea why he is calling? Anyone else received a similar call/message?

Very curious to see what the call was for... I'd be super peeved if they're letting people in off of the WL when some of us have been waiting since Oct/Nov for an initial decision!

I don't get it? What are they doing? Why haven't they sent rejection letters and why are they not notifying people of rejections/waitlists? You'd think decisions would be finalized by now. What is the purpose of holding off? Are they watching who will withdraw from the decisions rendered so that they may fill in those spots or what?

This does, as others have noted, seem odd in regards to the decision making process. One would only wonder if your decision to withdraw from the wait-list prompted such decision from the Committee. Would you by any chance know of any clarification regarding this? Regardless, this definitely adds another layer of puzzle, question marks, and frustration for the people still waiting for UCLA to respond.

No scholarship money, but I will find out about need-based aid by next week Wednesday. I still may very well end up at USC since I do have a scholarship there, but UCLA is a viable option.

Anyone know when the deposit deadline is for UCLA? I apologize if it's been answered before in this thread - I'm too lazy to look through!
