Just checking this thread for the first time. I've been at "Complete" since 12/5, and I emailed them to hold my application until my December LSAT scores arrived. Does Penn do an "Under Review" like other schools?

who in this thread is still UCR from Nov/Dec and hasn't heard anything? no fall grade requests, no acceptance/denial/waitlist, anything? i know there's a few more out there...

Do they frequently request fall grades? Only for borderline candidates?

They don't think you suck at life or else they would have rejected you already. They probably think you marginally suck with a chance of improvement.

Yea it looks like maybe a lot of from the the poorly or average ranked undergrads may have been shut out. I get it on one level, but on another level my 3.65 comes from an undergrad where median grade is still floating around 2.9 or 3.0 so there's not as much grade inflation. Oh well . . . at least I'm in at Michigan.

Waitlist 171 3.65. Thought I had a good shot. Don't know if its that my undergrad caught some disrespect, its a tougher admissions cycle, or I overrated my chances coming into this. Oh well . . .

Damn. All I can say is that I hope you messed something up bad, or have no softs at all. Otherwise, I'm not going either (171, 3.5)

WL'd with a 171 and 3.75, but with a retake from a 161. I had decent softs, including founding a non-profit and community volunteering. Also from a poorly ranked undergrad, though. I wonder if it played a role. Very bummed out, Penn was one of my top realistic choices.
