We have been notified that your application for admission to Boston College Law School is now complete. If you plan to apply for financial aid, we recommend that you start the process as soon as possible. As financial aid is awarded to students in the order that their financial aid files are completed, do not wait until after you have been admitted. In order to be considered for all aid programs at BC Law, your processed applications must be received by March 15, 2010.

Now, my application was complete by November 1, so I am a bit confused. Did every applicant get this email? BC was the only school I'm still waiting to hear from that requires the Need Access form (damn parent info) and I'm wondering if this is an indication of anything. Call me grasping at straws/blindly hopeful/etc but I'm curious...
Sorry I got the email about Need Access and financial aid like 2-3 weeks ago. It doesn't mean anything.

Is there a cutoff age for providing parent info?

WOW! I just got my acceptance letter! This was a long shot for me- 161 non-URM, 3.74 15+ WE. This is such a roller coaster ride. I was held over from EA and thought I would either be WL or Rejected. I truly believe they read the applications and this was one of my reaches. I am waiting to hear from UT, I live in Austin so that is my other reach, maybe this bodes well for me.

Congrats! I'm an EA hold applicant as well (DR 2/26). BC is an UBER-REACH for me so I'm keeping my fingers crossed but preparing for the worst.

Nice, Dean Garvey mentioned that they would start stressing work experience. I guess you're a good example of that.

I think that's the reason they let me in. I really like the school's message...

It's estimated for 2010.

I'll make 2/3rds of what I made this year so I put 2/3rds of the tax I paid last year. It might be over stating it, but not by too much.

Should I let the financial aid office use my 2010 projected income to determine my financial need? I am earning very little as I'm leaving my job in a few months... or would I get more money by saying no?

I have no idea. I figure it won't hurt me because I'm certainly not making very much money (heyyyy working for a non-profit).

Hope we hear about scholarships soon. I'm going to the ASD for either BU or BC on March 26th, and whichever school gives me more $$ is the one I will be visiting. Have people started getting scholarship info yet?

I havent seen anyone with an offer yet except for one or two people that were awarded Alumni Scholarships. Other than that, it seems like they havent been doing too much about it.

Still just waiting for my letter from BC. Went DR on 2/24 so I assume I'll have a decision by Monday.

I was WL at UT yesterday, WL at BC a week or so ago, accepted at BU in December. I feel you on getting a decision though - I was relieved to have a decision too. Makes it easier to start making plans, figuring out $$, living, etc. GL to you!
