You should be very, very worried. Historically, those who have been UR for more than 2-3 weeks have either been WLed or rejected. This would seem to indicate that when one's status checker changes to UR, it's possible your application has actually already been reviewed, since they presumably would not make all acceptance decisions within 2-3 weeks of seeing an application. Clearly there is a specific decision-making process that goes on behind the veil of the status checker, though, and it's evidenced by unmistakable trends in the amount of time that elapses between going "under review" on the status checker and receiving one's decision. Unfortunately, it's not looking good for you.

Dammit you beat me to it  If you want some entertainment, read through that profile's older posts. The ignorance is either intentional or absolutely astounding. There needs to be a "watch" feature so TLSers can hunt this type of douchenozzle to extinction by showing up whenever and wherever they post on the forum.

I'm tempted to call and ask next week, but obviously you should do it instead.
I got a letter from them today and was like, sweet! maybe it's a scholarship!

Did anyone else get the huge acceptance packet-sized envelope, only to open it and see nothing but a fresh copy of Duke Law magazine?

That would SUCK. Though I do believe that they inform everyone via e-mail first.

Yeah, I got that. I thought it was a Mordecai invitation. How young and naive I was.

Boiler--why do you say they do it by email? Is that posted on their website / you've heard about it in the past?

Are we talking about acceptances or $$$?

I was under the impression that all acceptances were via e-mail. Dunno about $$$

We're talking about $$$. A little after we got our acceptance packages, they sent out a Duke Law Journal or something like that. Big tease.

Yeah, no movement...though I assume we'll see some action in the next two weeks (Especially after the deadline on Feb. 15th). I just hope they reach below for non-URMs, and put nice weight on >75% GPAs. Crossing fingers...

Yep same here. I have personal reasons for wanting to go to Duke, but they would have to match my 90k from UVA to make me seriously consider going

+1 to everything above. I highly prefer Duke to UVA, but really need that 90K if I'm going to attend.
