Looks yummy!
And look at those pearly whites! :D
What was that up for 10 seconds? Y'all are stingy with your time frames.
Five whole minutes! That's the longest one I have ever done!

I finally caught one of you folks' PWs.

In other news, it is way too nice out to be inside. I think a long hike is in order.

My office has no windows. Knowing that I'm like 20 minutes from some of the most beautiful portions of the AT on a day like today makes me super sad.

I work from home and make my own hours. :mrgreen:

Might drive up to North Georgia and hike some of the beginning of the AT.

AT = Appalachian Trail?

AT = Appalachian Trail?
That is correct. Not very challenging, but nice nonetheless.

Yep.

Part of me wants to postpone law school for a year and thru-hike next spring, but the more rational side says that I should go to school next fall.

I did for solicited, but not unsolicited.

I do. If they frown upon you expressing gratitude, they're jerks.

I think anyone who grew up in the Appalachian Mountains has that feeling at least once every year or two.
I actually might do a month or two of this before law school next year.
I'm just afraid that once I start law school, I will be stuck on the treadmill and I won't have a chance to do it again while I'm young and can do it relatively easily.

I am planning on doing 2 or 3 weeks in the Wind Rivers of Wyoming next summer. Glacier trail is about 20 miles or so leading to the base of Gannett Peak, which I may attempt if I can work up the courage (requires alpine climbing). Nothing but me, my pack, and the occasional grizzly.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
