Should we realistically start to expect scholarship offers in the mail this week? Or should I be expecting them later in February/March?

(Real answer is: maybe. I know there have been scholarships reported in both Texas and Virginia, so they're definitely going out and they're going to both in-staters and out, but there's no way of knowing what you as an individual should expect.)

I'm assuming the scholarships that have been sent out are related to the date when the applicant was accepted? So far I've seen mentions of scholarships from applicants accepted in October, but has anyone from later months been awarded anything?benwyatt wrote:Expect nothing and nothing can disappoint you.jlopez wrote:Should we realistically start to expect scholarship offers in the mail this week? Alright team. Joining the party late (just submitted my app recently).
FYI - The UVA TLS Admissions spreadsheet analytics numbers were pretty off. I cleaned up some of the data and fixed up the formulas on the Analytics tab. It should be accurate now... but feel free to double check.

There's no way you cleaned up the analytics tab formulas because that tab is locked.GrumpyYellowOgre wrote:Alright team. Joining the party late (just submitted my app recently).

Please do not "clean up" any data. If there are discrepancies, talk to me and I'll fix them.

Hey Wyatt. I was under the impression that they were locked too... which is why I was surprised when the numbers were really off. I'll PM you with details. Thanks!benwyatt wrote:There's no way you cleaned up the analytics tab formulas because that tab is locked.GrumpyYellowOgre wrote:Alright team. Joining the party late (just submitted my app recently).

Sorry if I seemed snarky before, but I have to keep a pretty firm stance against people editing any data that isn't their own. If that happens, someone is going to mess it up and the whole tool is going to go to shit.
I don't check them for errors as frequently as I did before because my work volume has dramatically increased from before but I'm happy to audit and correct errors when they're flagged for me, either by PM or in the spreadsheets thread itself.
Thanks folks.

No worries man/woman. I was still in excel-mode at work and it was my bad for not running due diligence in tracking down the owner. Details sent via PM. Thanks for your work on these.benwyatt wrote:Thanks.GrumpyYellowOgre wrote:Hey Wyatt. They expect you to interview with them within a few days of the request I'd imagine? and what is the format?badatlsat120 wrote:Mine was submitted and two days later got an interview request.
