I'm a re-applicant. Last year, NYU waitlisted me on 4/27 after I applied in November. I think there's just going to be a rush of waitlists and denials through the last few days of the month.

A lot of folks had a scholarship deadline today, which forces the decision a bit early. Looks like some decisions were made in response to the people committing today; I suspect movement will continue now as the replies continue.

I withdrew my spot today at my scholly deadline, and I hope that those in waiting are going to receive good news very soon!

when is the absolute latest we'd hear? does such a date exist? i thought that schools pretty much have to give an initial decision by 4/30. UR1 12/12 over here...ready to sign a lease in philly

Just called. I was told to expect hearing back 'soon' (by the end of April). UR1 2/19 here

DLS today, first movement since my UR2 way back on 10/29. I'm *assuming* it's a WL, given the posts here, but I haven't heard anything else, and while I can't log in to the admitted students site, that doesn't mean anything, either.

Still, if I had to guess, I'd say I'm at the front of a big WL blast.
