I've read up on interview stuff previously in the thread, but if you had to say, are they more interested in Why Law or Why WUSTL?

I think it depends on the applicant. Why law was my only question.

Why law for me over why WUSTL. The interviewer pretty much talked to me as if I was already going to WUSTL.

Didn't get either question during the interview, though I answered why law on my own.

For everyone that received a travel stipend, did you have to request it or was it unsolicited? If it was unsolicited, how long after being admitted did you get it? I want to ask for one, but I'm not sure if it's too soon to do so.

Just checked my email and saw the invite to interview -- thanks to the above posters who asked (and answered) the Qs I had! Will be scheduling a phone interview soon. Cue the nerves.

Good luck! Doesn't look like there are any Feb. dates left for phone interviews :-/

Congrats! The stipend offer comes in an unsolicited email. The people that have called have reported being told, "No email, no stipend," which isn't very helpful. I want to say wait a week or three to see if it comes in, but that's cutting it close to the March ASD if that's what you're looking at. There's always April, when the TLS B-squad chose to attend.

Accepted on a Friday and got the stiped email the next Friday. Not sure what the norm is though.

They are from what I have seen on here, but people have also been wait listed after having one. Did you get any hints or vibes from your interviewer?

I had Katherine Scannell, and she was very very friendly. Commented that I had an interesting application. She spoke a lot about housing and what STL had to offer, almost seemed like "when you get here" without saying it. My wife was close by (skype) and she said the same. WL after a conversation like that would be kinda messed up, IMO. Rejection even worse. But you know how it is, though. Always wondering if you said somethingn or asked a question or seemed too aggressive.

Anyone notice they seem to be being much more friendly to reverse splitters than splitters this year? Judging just by LSN, it looks like low 160's and 3.8X is getting more money than a 17X with a 2.XX. Seems strange no?

Someone mentioned earlier that it may be admits with numbers that are more likely to matriculate are getting more money, at least initially. If they are nicer to reverse splitters I will be insanely happy.

I'm a massive reverse splitter and was surprised to even get the interview. I guess it could be a good sign.

What about Early Descision? Did anyone here apply ED?... interview in a week, so nervous.Fall below 25th for LSAT and between 25-50 for GPA.
