have any 1/17 admits still not received their letter or is it just me? i think soemthings seriously wrong with my mail system haha. its just a purple envlope normal size sent via regular mail?

I just received mine on Tuesday, and with the holiday, and depending on where you are, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a few more days. I'm assuming you've verified your address on the ASW? It does look like it's sent via regular mail, but it is sort of an oversized envelope. Mine fit in my tiny, apartment mailbox though.

Mind if I ask for selfish reasons when all you new admits went UR? I heard NYU has a very fast turnover.

I only applied on Jan 20 and have already gotten UR1 on Jan 23rd and UR2 on Jan 24th. Is it normal for the NYU date to update everyday like Michigan's status check?

No, I don't think so. Looks like the admissions office is just working at a crazy pace this year. Perhaps you'll hear some good news soon.

They do seem to have a fast turnover. I submitted 1/8 and went UR 1/17. I'm not even complete yet at Cornell/Duke/Michigan. 3.57 170 so not quite an auto-ding, but close to it.

Ahahaha I had the same feeling. I feel like they realize that we know we're accepted with the DLS update. Maybe they can tell who's figured out the ASW trick and who hasn't.
