Not to be cocky, but my story is captivating in regards to what I've overcome etc., and how I will add diversity to schools. Granted I won't get into HYS but I think that other top schools don't mind fitting a 159 into their average. My school also has a track record of having stellar AA students who have done well in these respective law schools. PM for any specifics. Good luck all!

Hey there, thanks for answering. No need to validate yourself. As I said, I didn't want you to be flamed because it wasn't my intention. I know nothing about URM cycles and that's why I was asking. I had also heard that Mich and Cali couldn't take URM into account. I know there are a lot of people that post fake #'s on LSN so as to not "out themselves" so I was wondering if that was the case. I think you've had a great cycle so far and I can only assume that it's going to continue. Congratulations! And honestly, I was asking genuinely not because I thought you were some loser that created a fake profile.

It's true. I've outperformed my numbers thus far and I'm not a URM. Granted, my LSAT is almost 10 points higher than that but I still outperformed based on the numerical predictions from LSAC, HourUMD, and what not.

Of course, me too. I have a 164 and am going to Michigan. Something most people would agree is close to impossible. As I said, I just didn't know if that was the way the URM cycles normally played out or if champion was just an oddity.

rooting for you I checked mailings and it says the mailing date for the offer package is tomorrow. So maybe they updated a bunch today. Worth an ASW check. High GPA science majors are kind of a big deal, imo. haha

I'm sure you'll do great this cycle! I stopped checking ASW because I realized it was unhealthy with my "weak consider" on LSP and today was the first time in at least like... 3 days. haha. Don't stress so much!
other relevant info- I was admitted for fall and wasn't interested in summer.

Quick question - I logged into the ASW yesterday. Mail and money had my packet listed as being sent 12/7 (today) but my status checker still lists me as "complete" and not at "decision." Normal?

At that time you are notified of such a decision. Until then, all you can assume is that your file hasn't had a decision made on it.

Yeah, that's totally normal. Dean Z's blog says they normally send out packets a few days before they'll change the status checker to decision. In hopes that you'll receive the packet first. They don't necessarily account for neurotic TLS'ers that try to log into ASW every second of the day.

You may not know for certain, but you can make an educated guess. Looking at past cycles, those of us who applied early and have not yet heard are probably waitlisted.

Went through my usual TryToLogInRedTextCRY morning process on ASW. BUT IT'S BLUE!!!!!!

App Acknowledgment: 10/28
Status Checker: 11/10
Decision Mailing: 12/8

Best of luck to everyone and definitely don't give up hope if people are getting in who applied after you (like I was doing).
