Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
Hey, is it ok to send in another LOR through lsac even if they haven't asked? Will that delay consideration of my app?

At this point I think I'd even prefer a ding over no movement. . . No, I take that back.Nulli Secundus wrote:Something should happen today. (Except for an outright ding of course)

What happened yesterday? If you mean people heard some news, what are the odds of not a single TLS poster hearing anything at all on such a day? Gunners gon' gun.CastleRock wrote:Tbh I think it likely happened yesterday.Nulli Secundus wrote:Ok no movement today, the day is over

And dear Torte, I will only keep doing this until I get my inevitable ding. After that I will leave TLS humiliated and defeated.LinzerTorte wrote:I really hope you do this until everyone has heard back sometime in May.Nulli Secundus wrote:Ok no movement today, the day is over![]()

It happened last week as well. It's happened in the past. What's going on is people are realizing that the number of JR1s going out at this point in time is probably small, so they want to keep their anonymity.Nulli Secundus wrote:What happened yesterday? CR, I can understand people not sharing JR1 news, but what about us, the so called "Forgotten"? Still no holds, no news since November.CastleRock wrote:It happened last week as well. Fair enough. You guys are an odd lot. I think you actually are forgotten and Birdlaw's application was just unfortunate enough to fall into the ding pile.Nulli Secundus wrote:CR, I can understand people not sharing JR1 news, but what about us, the so called "Forgotten"? Honestly though, I guess there could be some movement on you guys. Who knows?

I mean, each time I make up my mind regarding our situation something happens to show I was wrong. Serious trolling alert.CastleRock wrote:Fair enough. You guys are an odd lot. At first, I thought they were delaying the review of my application because I took the December LSAT, then I heard a friend got held after receiving his December score.
Then I thought it just was not our turn, then birdlaw got dinged.
I imagine someone at HLS Admissions closely following the Forgotten thread and this thread and going like "Here is your next curveball, deal with it bwhahaha"

Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
Just to give you more info, since my situation has thrown a wrench into everyone else's ideas of what is going on... I sent my application on 11/12. So you guys may just be waiting for your hold (certainly not a ding, right?Nulli Secundus wrote:I mean, each time I make up my mind regarding our situation something happens to show I was wrong. Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
Had my JR1 recently. It seemed very, very short, but I didn't time it--maybe just over five minutes?
I was feeling pretty confident beforehand because I got a JR1 soon after going under review, but now I'm (of course) second-guessing everything I said and feeling much less confident.

Ha, I'm realistic about the slim chance with my 171, but I appreciate the sentiment!juliachild-ish wrote:Congrats! I'm sure a JR1 will not be far off.ElvisAaron wrote:Finally UR today, after 1/8 submission.
Looking on LSN it seems a few others went UR today, so I guess that qualifies as movement...

Also FYI to those out of the area we're getting another 10" of snow up here so I'm sure that will continue to bog things down (or at least contribute to lag)
