Re: UCLA? 2011
Complete 1/24. Waitlisted at USC though so idk...perhaps my very detailed reasons for wanting to go to UCLA will put me over the fence...but something tells me that missing the last round of WL's is just delaying the inevitable. If they're behind like Cornell then it's definitely feasible that they still have spots, but if they're like most schools I can't say I'm optimistic...

I was pretty shocked to hear how many people at the UC Davis ASD on Saturday still have not heard from UCLA.

Has anyone heard anything back who also applied to the Epstein program? I'm wondering if the Epstein program's application review is holding up some of our final decisions (and hopefully the extra wait time ends up being a positive thing for a lot of us! My fingers are crossed hard...)

I called to check and let them know I have deposit deadlines approaching. They didn't seem to care.

Re: UCLA? 2011
So I found this thread from last year's applicants to the Epstein program:
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=104536
It seems a lot of folks hadn't heard anything back until late April, so there's still hope for us public interest minded hopefuls!
This thread is also quite helpful for Epstein program applicants:

hmmm... this is an interesting theory. I didn't apply to the Epstein program, but my application is overwhelmingly public interest minded. After being in review for 6 months, I'm pulling at straws here though...

April 29. So, if they're keeping true to their "through April" deadline, I'm not sure what they're waiting...cmaas wrote:When are seat deposits due?

I don't know specifically about Epstein, but I was told yesterday that the scholarship committee would be convening this week to review applications.

Just got dinged by email. Hurt a little after such a long wait. Now only usc can keep me in California if they decide to let me in and give me money.

Re: UCLA? 2011
condolences. rejections hurt, i've gotten plenty of them. that said, hopefully there will be some good news coming out of ucla in the next couple days this week. i seem to recall a poster last week saying that the admissions office told them that everyone should expect a decision in the next 1-2 weeks. i sure could use some positivity in my life now...

Re: UCLA? 2011
thanks. I kind of knew it was coming. Even though my lsat was great, I've heard UCLA (and all the UCs actually) are really big on GPAs...and mine sucks.
good luck to everyone still waiting, hopefully I'm the last of the TLS rejections and everyone else hears good news.

Just got waitlisted yesterday via email. It doesn't feel too bad as I was expecting a straight rejection. 160/3.9
