I just received a scholarship of 17,000 a year after not receiving any offer with my original acceptance. This makes denver much more of a realistic option.

Guys, how does Denver inform applicants of the decisions? I just went to Decision Processed on the status checker.

Just toured the DU campus and sat in on a class. I also grew up blocks away from the campus and know the city pretty well (although I live in the southeast now). I would be happy to provide an objective point of view or answer any questions anyone may have.

No scholarship offer yet, is that bad? Are they even going to offer me one?

Just got the acceptance e-mail, but there was no mention of any scholarship. From previous posts here, I understand that scholarship info comes later. Is my understanding correct? I really like Denver and Colorado in general, but it would take a really good offer for me to decide to go there.

I just bought my plane ticket for ASD!!! For out-of-towners, are you staying in their recommended hotel, the Burnsley All Suite? I can't wait to meet everyone!

I won't be able to make it for ASD but I have been corresponding with admissions to get some info about visiting and about places to check out in Denver. I booked my flight for March 27th! I'm very excited to see the school. I hope I am impressed :)

Hey everyone,

heading to denver this fall for law school. Anyone else figured out their living situation yet? I was sort of hoping to find a roommate to reduce costs but would only consider it if it's another law student. If anyone is interested in that as a possibility PM me.

Can't wait to get started, see you guys in the fall!

M, I'm staying with several friends for a day or two each in Denver, one of the northern burbs, and Boulder.

Question for anyone: Is there any benefit to going to the ASD versus a private tour/meet-and-greet on another day? I loathe meetings and i don't want to sit through any ridiculous presentations while i'm trying to scope the place out, but as a counter-point, I don't want to miss out on anything important or insightful during the ASD events.

Thanks! I actually found a friend to stay with, so YAY for free couches. I think the benefit of ASD is meeting a lot of prospective students and most of the faculty.

In my case, I got the e-mail the day after my status changed to decision processed. Based on a couple other posts on this thread, I think that's the standard time frame.

Does anyone know how long after the acceptance they send info regarding scholarships? Or are they pretty much not handing them out at this point?

I went DP this Monday, March 1st. That means I had a lag time of 3 days between DP and acceptance notification.

I am interested in the on-campus housing, but I have to check it out first before I decide for sure. Walking to class sounds awesome.

*cringes in anticipation of lambasting*

can someone give me a run down of "shows complete" "decision pending" "accepted" etc on status checker?

first cycle n00b here and wtf is status checker?

also, I'm legally blind so try not to give me a hard time. no not really, but I'm ready for the jerks on here to make fun. ok go.

I'd upload a screen shot for my best guess, only my emploeyer has a nanny filter that leaves 85% of the awesome internet inaccessible.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
