Most schools have been cool about sending LOCI's through e-mail. Villanova has no instructions regarding WL. Think I should send it in paper?

i would do fedex paper mail using high quality paper. 1 page LOCI. no more. make sure it is signed confirmation.

Yeah, I would send a hard copy in. Definitely sign it, but I don't think the high quality paper is a necessity. Are you OOS? I got in with a 3.2/159, but I'm in state. Either way, I think you have a good shot of getting in. Good luck

I was expecting a rejection, so I'm sorta very happy about the waitlist lol, but I'd be ecstatic if I get accepted.

FWIW, the first seat deposit is due April 15th and the second deposit is due June 10th. Obviously I can't say for sure, but it seems to me that they would start digging into their waitlist once they see how many people have committed by the first deposit deadline on April 15th. Good luck!

Just got an e-mail from Villanova regarding WL. LOCI's should be sent via e-mail, and additional LoRs should be sent via e-mail attachment or fax.

Note where Villanova ranks among "law schools with the highest percentages of graduates hired by NLJ 250 firms." Interesting, considering its USN rank (#61). I suppose its location helps.

For what it's worth, I expect Villanova Law School's rankings to move up - especially with their opening of the new and modern law school.

Just curious, has anyone else spent some time exploring the Villanova website? They have a ridiculous amount of information on it, I've just started to look around.

For example:
Student Facts
Students with laptops: 99%
Macs vs. PCs: 36% vs. 64%
Students taking exams on computer: 95%

They also have a past exam database, where you can search by teacher, course, year, etc. I can't access any of them now, but I'm assuming once you get a login you can access any exam listed there. Pretty awesome.

I doubt many people will be 100% sure until scholarship information starts arriving. That's what I'm waiting on. With Temple 20 minutes away, I hope they're giving out some solid aid this year. The tuition difference is 20k a year.

yeah. Pitt is giving me 14k a year. and in-state in 2L. ridiculous money along with cheap COL there is making me go nuts. I'm hoping Villanova can possibly match that.

I have officially lost interest in whether Villanova will ever make an admissions decision. Congratulations to everyone who has heard back, and good luck to everyone who has more patience than I do.
