Hmm... did anyone who's been accepted so far check the box for the Law Scholars Merit Award form (there was a box on the app asking if you were planning on applying for that), and HASN'T submitted it yet? (apologies for the awkward sentence structure with potentially incorrect grammar)

I ask because I submitted my app mid-Oct and was complete by 10/26, but haven't heard a thing, even though people who went complete later and/or have lower numbers have gotten in already (congrats, y'all!)... wondering if that could possibly be the hold-up? I didn't sign up for an interview (abroad), so that's not it...

I submitted my app and was complete sans interview 9/18. Interviewed around the time you were complete. Not trying to bring you down, but they could just be taking their time on us.

I do wonder how they decide to order sending out acceptances, if not by complete date or numbers. The mysteries of adcomms.

I did have a decent run last month, so I can't complain too much, but this whole silent treatment thing (from UCLA too, similar situation) makes me sad... and obsessive about refreshing TLS all day/night. My boss would probably appreciate some word from schools, too, actually, because my productivity has shot down to -1

Me too. I've been blessed to have been accepted to 4 schools so far- any one of which I would be happy to go to. But yeah, I hear you on the silent treatment. I've been taking my laptop to class: productivity -1.

I thought it might have been bitterness if you applied a really long time ago and haven't heard back, but others who applied later had gotten a "decision mailed" status already. I considered "bitter" a better adjective than "douchey."

I'm not going to cry myself to sleep over it either way. But it was on the same page as a bunch of people who got in something like 2 weeks after their interview, so I don't think the original meaning was that obvious from context.

With your numbers (depending on how fudged they are on LSN), you probably will hear back pretty quickly though. So good luck!

If it's been over 10days you can email them and they'll send a PDF of the decision letter. At least this is what they did last year.

Thanks, man. I emailed them to ask how they mail things overseas and they told me they use regular airmail. I'm in no hurry, so why bother.. just wait..
