I went complete on 12/18, and have yet to hear anything. Both of my numbers are above the 75th so I am wondering what they hold up is.

Got my hopes up when I saw that one too...

I got that same email, had the same reaction. Don't these schools know what they are putting us through when they send mailings and emails like this out after we've applied? I feel like they enjoy toying with us.

Nope. But the mailings list shows 1/13/10, so I think it's in route.

My status checker just updated to be Under Review 1/18, whereas before it was Under Review 1/11 ... does anyone know if there is any significance to a date change without a status change?

I'm still under review as of 12/23 so they might just be looking at applicants from the time period you applied. Dean Pless at Illinois groups applicants from a two-week window and updates them all at the same time, then looks at the next two-week window, etc. Maybe PSU does something similar. Good luck!

My prediction... Penn State will release another round of acceptances Wednesday Jan. 20th. or Friday the 22nd.

I have been under review since Mid-November. I was not in the first round of acceptances because I retook the lsat in December. They waited for my new score to make a judgement even though I requested that they do not. But good news from December lsat will help me out anyways.

I check my email... yet another online chat... PSU needs to stop chatting and start reading some applications!

No, and I'm not all that far away (relatively speaking).

There was one questioner in particular who was bogarting the floor. And I found the questions rather inane. That's all. Otherwise, I agree. I didn't get much out of it. ...Although I did learn the dates of the ASDs.
