In-state tuition next year will be about $5,000 less than USC.Veritas wrote:anyone deterred by the tuition bumps?

Out of state will be higher.
Will this have an effect on rankings? On anything?

Re: UCLA?
Can someone answer this Q? I want to send my application ASAP but I have been working on essays all week and not having to write yet another one will be a big relief. FWIW I went to UCLA for undergrad too, if that decreases the YP risk.Hattori Hanzo wrote:What is the LSAT/GPA above which you'd have to write a "why UCLA" to not get YP'd?

I don't know UCLA to be a very "YP-heavy" school... Are they?Hattori Hanzo wrote:Can someone answer this Q? It seems to me that they happily accept applicants with great numbers.

too early to give up. they'll have to look through all the ED apps. Seems like those above or at the UCLA's Median in LSAT (168) are the only ones accepted so far.jgulia45 wrote: wow i went complete the same day...yikes i guess if i don't hear soon, it's a waitlist or reject for me...

just wondering, does being a ucla undergrad help, hurt, or do nothing as far as chances of acceptance?Hattori Hanzo wrote:Can someone answer this Q? Re: UCLA?
It seems that UCLA more than many schools (excepting maybe HYS, particularly S) cares about the quality of applicants' UG. Also, according to the UCLA website, UCLA UG is the most represented UG at UCLA Law.hellogoodbye1 wrote:just wondering, does being a ucla undergrad help, hurt, or do nothing as far as chances of acceptance?
