I searched through a BC ea forum from last year and saw some people said they got deferred. I haven't spoken with anyone from admissions about it, so accept/reject could be their policy this year. I'm doubtful, though, that the status checker changes in the last few days mean nothing. I think it at least means that they are doing something wih our files.

Who has had a date change and figures they are something of an auto-admit? I don't have a date change, and I'm nearly at the GPA 75th% and well above the 75th% LSAT (3.75/171).

I consider BC a target/safety. 3.45/168. My status is:

If this is the case for you, I think that most people with the status checker change were deferred/rejected. I like to think it is deferred since they will want to assess the numbers, extracurriculars, and work experience of EA mid-level candidates compared to the regular pool.

right on, a numbers twin! I'm 3.46, 168, and as I posted earlier I went decision pending 12/08. So obviously I'm not an auto-admit, but I'm hoping to have a decent shot.

Same here. I'm 3.52, 168 with similar status updates.

168, 3.52 seems like a pretty solid admit to me, so the hypothesis that any change in the status checker means deferral could be wrong. Maybe it just means they looked at the file for the final time that day with no indication of decision.

167/3.91 - I don't think you can really make any conclusions about the small pool of data.
EA applicants will at least have a postmarked decision by Dec. 15 - they must be waiting until then for everyone...kind of weird.
