You beat me. Third and fourth lowest, respectively, excluding URMs.NayBoer wrote:Of those 4 so far registered on LSN who've applied ED to NU, I am the most egregious splitter. Highest LSAT, lowest GPA.
pj06 171 / 3.36
tth83 166 / 3.22
NayBoer 172 / 2.7
dpeter2455 170 / 3.56
Also, if you view all NU applicants on LSN, and sort by GPA in ascending order, I currently have the worst GPA of any listed. Same for Cornell, if you exclude URMs.

They've been like this the last couple of years. The only way you have a chance as a splitter at Texas is if you are a resident and even then it's tough.missvik218 wrote:Texas appears to be GPA whoring this cycle, don't take it personally.tumbleweed664 wrote:Good luck all!

Gotta say that I love all the tars from The Wire... best show I think I've ever seen; surely it's full of good luck for splitters and non-splitters alike.

No need for tier3... im 165 3.0 and ive been offered a scholarship at a tier 2 and got into a tier 1.Meeeeech wrote:Do I count?
169 lsat and 2.9gpa (physics major) woooo. I have no illusions of getting into a great school, my super-reach is U of MN and I applied to a few tier 3 schools hoping to get some cash. I applied almost 5 weeks ago, it'd be nice to get a full ride for christmas!
169 is way above every t2, so don't worry

Chupavida: Did UIUC offer any cash, assuming you're out of state?
p.s. I'm an even more extreme splitter than you. On both ends.

Sweet. Maybe I can apply to UIUC. It would at least give me another option and maybe let me pressure other schools for $.

Fiance got in a GW with $$$ with 2.8/170, so get APPLY TO T1 SCHOOLS!!! She even applied in Feb after the Dec LSAT and got into most schools where she applied (in at WUSL, GW, Davis and all T2). She didn't have any outrageous softs either.Nicholasnickynic wrote:No need for tier3... im 165 3.0 and ive been offered a scholarship at a tier 2 and got into a tier 1.Meeeeech wrote:Do I count?

She even got a bidding war between WUSL and GW!
Just do it.

I just got a fortune cookie that read:
"Love or Money, or neither?"
I think I'm boned, metaphorically.

Sucks, I got a fortune cookie this summer while I was studying for the LSAT (I'm a little superstitious and I still have it) ... "Focus on your long-term goal. Your wish will be granted next year."shadowfrost000 wrote:I just got a fortune cookie that read:

I guess I should have know that UVA ED app was a waste, but I was hoping I'd get WLd and let in late in the cycle

Nice acceptance, last cycle Minnesota wasn't splitter friendly. I hope that bodes well for me(2.8 176), but they may have just liked your softs and PS.xanderdellus wrote:In at Minnesota!! Extreme NT Splitter.
