Texas appears to be GPA whoring this cycle, don't take it personally.
They've been like this the last couple of years. The only way you have a chance as a splitter at Texas is if you are a resident and even then it's tough.

Gotta say that I love all the tars from The Wire... best show I think I've ever seen; surely it's full of good luck for splitters and non-splitters alike.

No need for tier3... im 165 3.0 and ive been offered a scholarship at a tier 2 and got into a tier 1.

169 is way above every t2, so don't worry :)

Fiance got in a GW with $$$ with 2.8/170, so get APPLY TO T1 SCHOOLS!!! She even applied in Feb after the Dec LSAT and got into most schools where she applied (in at WUSL, GW, Davis and all T2). She didn't have any outrageous softs either.

She even got a bidding war between WUSL and GW!

Just do it.

Sucks, I got a fortune cookie this summer while I was studying for the LSAT (I'm a little superstitious and I still have it) ... "Focus on your long-term goal. Your wish will be granted next year."

I guess I should have know that UVA ED app was a waste, but I was hoping I'd get WLd and let in late in the cycle :?
