This runs the risk of coming across as lazy and/or someone who is rushing through the application. I would recommend filling it out.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure once you enter this once it auto-populates in any future applications you submit.nimbus cloud wrote:Re: the application process. Hmm I think I might be getting WLed or dinged. Went complete on 10/27 (RD) and radio silence since then. I'm above both 75ths, so could be YP. Although I did apply to the PI program, so maybe that's delaying my app?

Same (except PI) -- above both 75ths and complete since 10/06. I'm expecting WL or ding, but hope we're both wrong!airwrecka wrote:Hmm I think I might be getting WLed or dinged. I've been complete since beginning of October...was thinking the same thing.airwrecka wrote:Hmm I think I might be getting WLed or dinged. Went complete on 10/27 (RD) and radio silence since then. Y'all are making me feel better... I'm right at the medians and went complete on 10/27 as well.
I applied (more for the lolz cause come on medians) for the Distinguished Scholars program so I've now convinced myself that's what's holding it up, but more likely it looks like a ding or a WL.
Bummer too since UCLA is my first choice.

Same here! I went complete early November and I'm at/above the 75ths. I actually emailed admissions on Friday asking for more information regarding the Distinguished Scholars application process. I'm wondering if they are holding all those apps for some reason.lawlzschool wrote:Y'all are making me feel better... I'm right at the medians and went complete on 10/27 as well.

I also applied to Epstein, so perhaps that could also be involved?

Just got in via phonecall from the dean! Went complete 11/15, at or above both medians.
He said I'd hear back in February re: Distinguished Scholars. Did not mention Epstein.

Anyone who is ED and interviewed heard back yet?
I work in an office so I have the ability to obsessively check my e-mail and phone all day but like, this is just so weird of a process. We hear back whenever, no indication as to when. Could be today, tomorrow, next week.

Did all ED applicants get an interview? Yeah, it says by the end of December, but the semester ends Dec. 16th and their office is closed from Dec. 23-Jan 02. So, It will be for sure before the office is closed, hopefully before their semester ends.renc56 wrote:Anyone who is ED and interviewed heard back yet?

When I asked during the interview, they said that they interviewed all ED. But someone above mentioned being ED and not receiving an interview.ray.bee wrote:Did all ED applicants get an interview? I know, I know. I'm just being picky/frustrated/paranoid. As a non-student, I also had no idea when the semester ends but I assumed I would know around December 20 by the latest. It's just odd to see people hearing back already.

No, you're not paranoid, I am constantly wondering too! We are all in the same boat. I looked up their calendar for this purpose. LOL But yeah, it makes it more nerve-wracking to see RD people accepted. Good luck, I hope you get the call soon.renc56 wrote:When I asked during the interview, they said that they interviewed all ED. In the same boat as both of you. ED and had an interview 11/23 then radio silence. Now just checking here obsessively to see if any ED applicants have heard back and mostly just panicking. I guess it's sort of comforting that none of the people posting who have interviewed have heard back yet.renc56 wrote:Hopefully.
