The experts say that's still very early in the cycle. I think even if you applied in February with a 174 and your GPA you'd get in.

Did some stalking in last year's Michigan thread and saw many applicants with high numbers and early applications didn't hear back in the first wave of acceptances. Just some food for thought!

Good god. I came here to post about how I feel like I'm doomed because I wrote a crappy Why Mich essay (well, not poorly written, just kind of generic), but I just looked through the 100+ reasons to go to Mich book again and now I'm like "I want to rewrite it!!!"

And now I'm here thinking about how I hope I get admitted tonight.

And of course now I just realized I never even received the e-mail with my status checker info so I can't even login! :'(

October 18, got a confirmation e-mail on the 19th.
Weird. I submitted 10/28 and got my status checker email today (still not complete though). I bet you'll get your status checker email soon

It took me a full week to get status checker. Then 2-3 days to go complete

Yeah, but it's been more than 2 weeks for me, so I think there's been an error. I e-mailed the Admissions dept about it so we'll see.

I'm in the same exact position and when I emailed them they said my application is still processing even though I submitted everything at the same time. I don't get it....
