What's the application status for those of you who have received interview requests?

Is it possible that the interview waves for Chicago are similar to Harvard's in that those with the higher numbers are invited to interview earliest?

I got the interview invitation today around 10:30am. I applied RD on 9/16 and went under review shortly after that.

It's my understanding you have to be invited to interview in order to be admitted (if you're not asked to interview, you will be rejected), so I'd say it's a good sign! Not a guarantee, but good!

I was told by a UChicago admissions rep a couple of weeks ago that interviews are not necessary in order to be accepted.

Thanks, everyone! I just went under review today (went complete 10/06), so looks like it'll be a long haul.

+1. Submitted 10/2, complete 10/12. Fingers crossed that all these interview requests means that things might be moving a bit faster for us now in Chitown, but who knows.

Same boat as you but kinda worse. I applied the day apps opened with a lesser LSAT score, and when the higher better LSAT score came out out on 10/19 I went complete a week after (10/26). Now we wait... I am not even under review yet

Received an interview request as well, this is pretty exciting! Is there a consensus on the difficulty of their interviews historically? Most that I've had thus far have been pretty laid back when compared to job interviews. Good luck guys!

Invited to schedule an interview!! I've never done a Skype interview before, it's going to be my luck that my service is laggy or I can't hear the questions.

Also for those wondering, app sent in on 09-18 and went complete three days later. Good luck to everyone with their interviews! :D

Now that I think about it, it was Harvard where you weren't getting in without an interview, not Chicago.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
