Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone's acceptance letter came with a hand written "note" in the corner. Bizarre question but I couldn't figure out if it was my roommate or BU.

I had a missed call / message today from an unknown number and was disappointed to find out it wasn't BU
Anyone have an idea of how they determine the order in which they send out decisions? I have a similar completion date and stats to previous posters..

Anyone who applied for the Public Interest Scholarship get a ding/acceptance from BU yet? I'm wondering if that might be the hold-up... I'm otherwise an above median/75% applicant for them, but I've been holding at complete since the beginning of December.

Is it too early to negotiate my scholarship offer? If so, when is the appropriate starting time?

I got it by mail in my original acceptance packet. But that's because I'm rolled from ED.cheesy143 wrote:Did you get scholarship info already? If so, by email, mail?nicola16 wrote:Is it too early to negotiate my scholarship offer? If so, when is the appropriate starting time?

IMO way too early. They're still in the height of making decisions -- I'd hold out until (much) closer to deposit deadlines, and certainly not before the beginning of march...nicola16 wrote:I got it by mail in my original acceptance packet. Okay, thanks! Sorry, I didn't mean to offend; I've never done anything like this before with financial aid, and my parents are putting some pressure on me about it. Which basically makes me clueless and antsy, a bad combo.ltbenn wrote:IMO way too early. I've read that admissons officers get annoyed when people negotiate very early on (don't remember where but somewhere in the forums) so I'd wait especially since they haven't given out a bunch of their scholarships so they're still trying to figure a lot outnicola16 wrote:Okay, thanks! No problem! I'm a 0L too and first time applicant. I find a lot of this so confusing because law school admissions is so different from other types of admissions like undergrad and grad school. a lot of people try and give advice in my real life which is nice but without them knowing the law school process they're advice is usually badnicola16 wrote:Thanks for the info!
