Don't leave out the creepy skeleton thing we all got as well!
Dont you insult Dooley. We will fuck you up, m8
What is the story behind Dooley?
There are a lot of different stories, so I'll stick to his origin story:
He made his first appearance in 1899 as an author of a piece in the school's then newspaper The Phoenix titled
Reflections of the Skeleton. The piece appeared as an anonymous piece authored by the anatomy skeleton in the biology room. He claimed to represent the "Spirit of Emory" and has been our mascot in all things save sports since. He has the power to dismiss class, has a week named after him, and is followed around by an entourage of bodyguards and a speaker who reads his public addresses from a scroll. There is a lot of history, but thats the gist of it at least.

I love how they actually created a C.V. for him. That is dedication.

Hes a big deal here. Introduces President Carter and the Dalai Lama when they speak.

In via mail, 108k scholarship. It came in a cool little packet with a a flat Dooley and a nice handwritten note from Dean Rozenzweig. I have to say I'm pretty blown away.

In today with considerable scholarship. Emory kind of fell off my radar since it's been several months since I applied and in the meantime I had been hearing back from other schools. I kind of assumed it was a similar situation to Penn (heard nothing for months, then WL) so the package at my door after work today was a nice surprise. Especially Dooley!

I know that Emory doesn't really have rolling admissions, but did anyone that was accepted yesterday go complete in late December or January?

I went complete in early Jan (after Dec LSAT was released) and haven't heard anything yet.

But the question is... Did people who received the "Letters Mailing Soon" email also get accepted? Did anybody get rejected?

Haven't gotten anything yet, but my friend who got the letters mailing soon email got his Fedex package yesterday. His app went complete in November.
