I lied - got my scholarship info today. 20,000/year (meh, not too happy about that). Any idea how long that timeline can go for? Up to February or something like that, right?

Whoa earlier than expected, nice. I've got pretty similar numbers, so this gives me some hope. I'm betting you'll be able to negotiate that up a bit before all is said and done. I've got a 20k/yr offer on the table from a T30 too, so it looks like there'll be options for people with these numbers.

I got off work late but my packet is at home with my offer in it. I'm just gonna ignore it and go enjoy a hockey game instead since no one seems thrilled about their offer.

Edit: Just got home. Same boat. Still my number one, but hoping a meeting with an admissions dean in january will clarify some stuff

I think this is the case for kids who applied ED and were rolled over to RD.

I just got my Dec. LSAT score which is 3 points above their LSAT 75th, but my gpa is well below 25th (due to family issues that I'm writing an addendum for). Hoping that my LSAT score will be able to save me!

Boston is such a fun city, you really can't go too wrong with anywhere you decide to eat or visit. My personal favorite place I feel too many people overlook is for breakfast: Flour Bakery (http://www.flourbakery.com). They're absolutely amazing and have such great cookbooks, try the twice-baked brioche if they've got it. I'd recommend hitting up some of the museums if you get a chance, the Museum of Science and the Museum of Fine Arts are both tons of fun, and I absolutely love the architecture of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Also check out the Boston Public Library, it's always cool to spend a few hours in.

I'm copying what I put in the BC thread in case any else wants to see it, but:
- Either the Skywalk Observatory (Museam) or the Top of the Hub (bar/cocktail area/restaurant). Each offers 360 views from one of the highest points in Boston on the 51st or 52nd floor. Skywalk is 16 dollars and has a lot of history on the area, and the Top of the Hub is free but the best deal for your money is to do the "lounge area" (everyone has a 26 dollar or so minimum tab but you can get apps and desserts and really good drinks there)

- It's really cold right now but walk down Bolyston Street, lots of good places to eat and shop there. Newbury Street runs parallel to there, recommend you check out both of those.

- Walk along Boston Common and heads towards the waterfront (at the other end of Faneuil hall)

- Walk around the North End, which is both the Italian District and one of the oldest areas of the city. Cobblestone streets, ridiculously good pastries (Mike's Pastrys - Cash only), great food with in house chefs (Restaurante Fiore)

- Visit Fenway, even if it's just to peak inside.

- Walk along the Esplanade, which is a biking/running/park area that runs most of the length of the Charles on the Boston side (the other side is the Cambridge/MIT side). Check out the Hatch Shell too, it's near the red line stop there, they do a lot of cool stuff there (Dispatch had their original last concert there, Boston Pops outdoor performances). My girlfriend and I used to go there on Friday night during the evening if we didn't feel like going out, they show lots of movies and you get a whole field of people sitting on blankets watching it life a Drive-In.

If you got accepted after getting deferred, did your status checker change at all after being "complete"? I know that's what happened to everyone who got deferred, I'm just curious to know if anything changed between deferral and acceptance or denial.

After I was deferred it stayed at complete then several hours after I got my acceptance call it changed to "Decision Made" and said congratulations at the top with the admitted students website login.

Yeah I'm pretty sure status trackers are just a way of keeping us occupied because I've seen few of them that have worked for people on here.

Im in the same boat as you, I wouldnt worry about it.
