No idea, but it can't hurt to ask. I've gotten better offers from higher ranked schools.TetrisBlock wrote:Does Emory negotiate? I was under the impression they don't.Dipper wrote:Anyone know who is the appropriate person to direct scholarship negotiation emails to?

ughh I'm trying to apply to Emory but I'm stuck on the Education selection of the application. I've listed all my schools but when I try to save it says "The following error(s) have occurred:
1. List ALL educational institutions attended: law is required."
I've never been to law school..

I think you still can save and proceed, I had the same situation if I recall correctly, and I just saved and proceeded nonetheless.adil91 wrote:I didsvx5013 wrote:2. Try listing your high school. Does that help?

Just got an email congratulating me (apparently again) on my admission and merit scholarship...I hasn't heard anything about admission or scholarship or anything at all from Emory so I'm a little confused...

I also receiving that confusing email. I haven't been able to check my mail today, so it is possible that an acceptance arrived today and they time these emails really well.Shelbinole wrote:Just got an email congratulating me (apparently again) on my admission and merit scholarship...I hasn't heard anything about admission or scholarship or anything at all from Emory so I'm a little confused...

Seems like a good thing ... Respond and ask about it? I had something sort of similar (can't remember what school) where I got an email "reminding" me that all admitted students need to complete a form or something, but I received it before my acceptance because that was mailed and took a few extra days.Shelbinole wrote:Just got an email congratulating me (apparently again) on my admission and merit scholarship...I hasn't heard anything about admission or scholarship or anything at all from Emory so I'm a little confused...

I received my admissions packet yesterday and then got the same email today. I would say it is safe to assume you are accepted, but just have not received the packet yet. Congratulations!6778628 wrote:I also receiving that confusing email. Yeah, I thought a couple law schools did that too. I hope it means acceptance for you guys! A little bummed though that I didn't get the email, haha.santoki wrote:also got the "congrats on being accepted" email.
cant help but think about those situations that have happened recently where undergrad schools have sent acceptances to students who were actually denied...
perhaps ill respond to the email to verify

Got the same email but no packet yet. In the email, it says "These additional financial aid opportunities (listed below) are great options to supplement your merit scholarship." Can i assume that i got merit scholarship?kfree wrote:I received my admissions packet yesterday and then got the same email today. hmm the timing of emails and USPS seems to be a little off this cycle. I think emory might be trying to figure out how best to notify people this cycle.
In any case, congratulations!!: It's good news!!
eta: in that email, there should be a fine print disclaimer that says, "You are receiving this email because you have been admitted to Emory Law School."

Did anyone get a denial for the Woodruff Fellowship without an admissions decision? I was under the impression you had to be admitted before the Woodruff folks even looked at your application. Officially confused.

Did anyone who has been admitted but not offered $$ get that email?
I did not receive the email and have no idea where I stand with this school lol
