Mine also came like three weeks after.bobbybird wrote:I was told the view book was mailed on 11/06, and I got it three days ago. The package was dirty and torn up, so I think some may've gotten lost in translation and barely made it, for whatever reason. I don't think that's a reason to think you were auto-dinged.Tr3 wrote:I never got the viewbook they said they sent me. Auto ding? boo

Just checked while procrastinating for finals and I saw that I have a alb package coming from Nashville... Is this a good sign? I don't want to get my hopes up.

I don't know how heavy "a" is, but if it's a package by FedEx it means you've been accepted (if everyone else in this thread is telling the truth).LWoodWDE wrote:Just checked while procrastinating for finals and I saw that I have a alb package coming from Nashville... Application Complete: 11/06
View book Mailed: 11/06
Interview: 11/18
Haven't heard anything so far. Not even a viewbook.
Maybe because of the disastrous interview.

I heard their interviews were relatively relaxed and easygoing? What happened?fairhope71 wrote:Application Complete: 11/06

Mine was with an alumnus. He kept pointing out that I am too old (and late) for this.imKMart wrote:I heard their interviews were relatively relaxed and easygoing? What happened?fairhope71 wrote:Application Complete: 11/06

Thanks. I just hope this doesn't repeat itself in other interviews.imKMart wrote:Wow. What a dick. I'm really sorry...fairhope71 wrote:Mine was with an alumnus. My interviewer was also very rude. I hope that you will contact the admissions office after all is said and done to let them know, because I am sure that Vandy wouldn't want someone like that representing their school. My other interviews have gone really well and I'm sure yours will, too - sometimes the problem really lies with the interviewer and not the applicant.fairhope71 wrote: Thanks. Re: Vanderbilt c/o 2018 applicants
Also, I just got my viewbook a couple of days ago even though my status checker had indicated that it was sent in early Nov. So I don't think anyone should take it as a sign if theirs hasn't come yet.

Sorry I meant "6 lb," obviously finals are getting to me. Package is on the FedEx truck for delivery in my hometown. I won't know the contents until my mom gets home from work tonight. Praying for good news.bobbybird wrote:I don't know how heavy "a" is, but if it's a package by FedEx it means you've been accepted (if everyone else in this thread is telling the truth).LWoodWDE wrote:Just checked while procrastinating for finals and I saw that I have a alb package coming from Nashville... Just got my package! Went complete 11/4. So far my favorite part is the 14-page guide to Nashville bars.

I wouldn't be too worried about it yet because it seems like they are slow to send out acceptances.Lions1913 wrote:I've been complete since mid october (no update for files sent or new LSAT) yet have heard nothing. Numbers are competitive. Cause for concern?

Ditto. Especially considering LSN doesn't show any rejections yet.Lions1913 wrote:I've been complete since mid october (no update for files sent or new LSAT) yet have heard nothing. Numbers are competitive. Cause for concern?

I hope not. I'm in the same boat, but complete as of 9/26. It's been a loooong wait.Lions1913 wrote:I've been complete since mid october (no update for files sent or new LSAT) yet have heard nothing. Numbers are competitive. Cause for concern?

I don't think so. It shows up halfway down this page for me: http://law.vanderbilt.edu/prospective-students/Dream_weaver32 wrote:So did Vandy update their website? I can't find the status checker anymore.

I think it did because it's definitely different from when I checked earlier this morning.hillz wrote:I don't think so.
