I think the bitterness about PT is kinda unwarranted. Feel proud of your accomplishment and enjoy it for a moment! It's not Duke's job to hand you an early acceptance no strings attached and for all we know they are WL'ing fewer people and admitting more provisionally, so you might not have been in otherwise. Just think of it as an opportunity to rock the interview and get yourself some $. I don't think there is any reason to view this as less than a very likely acceptance unless, I dunno, you're terrible.
Besides, you knew this was coming when you signed up and if you're good enough to get Duke PT, aren't you in it for the $ more than just the acceptance?
Don't believe that's true this year. It looks like they are handing them out to splitters (if my stats are any indication).

Do we have any stats about acceptance rate on PT? I'm getting ready to turn mine in this upcoming week (C'MON, LETTER-WRITERS) and the newest thing I've started thinking about to stress myself out is the healthy possibility of getting my first rejection in September and having that add to the freak-out quotient of submitting other applications.

with a 3.7/170 I think the chance of being rejected in September are very, very slim

and midwest, last year there were some decisions on weekends (the first PT decisions were on a sunday actually), so it's definitely a possibility

No ten days will be this Friday.
I just expected some movement based on Xylo's acceptance and the fact that I had similar numbers/submit time as her!

TY Xylo.
Assuming these interviews will all be in January like with PT?
yeah, it seems from the wording of the email that all interviews will start scheduling in December and actually start in January
