pm me your email and I can send whoever wants it

The whole thing about interviews not playing a role: I'm pretty sure it counts a decent amount. NU has the most sociable and non-awkward student body I've encountered, although that could be because majority have worked previous jobs. I think they interview so that they can find people who can do well during OCI. Just my thoughts.

I have an interview coming up even though a didn't request one... guessing that's a good sign?

Anyone else encounter this?
Yea, I encountered this problem too. I ultimately just submitted the application without the GPA addendum I had sent to some other schools and wrote a short Why NU essay instead. I figure they are pretty lenient for splitters anyway so maybe they just don't want the GPA addendum. However, I could be totally wrong about that.
Thanks, shamallama! Really good point about NU showing splitters some love. FWIW, I spoke with someone in admissions and she said you could either attach an addendum as a second document under the "Personal Statement" section, as part of the optional essay, or you can email an addendum to admissions as a PDF and they'll add it to your file.

Thanks! I emailed admissions my GPA addendum so hopefully they add it to my file and all is good.

I submitted an application a week ago and requested an off-site interview.
But there were no slots available so I made a Skype interview appointment for Jan. 20.
I feel concerned in that my app won't be reviewed for more than 2months.

Do you think it's a good idea to ask the adcomm to review my app without interview?

I think an interview is generally good because it gives the Ad Comm another piece with which to evaluate you and understand who you are as a person. Getting a decision back in Jan/Feb really isn't that late.

My checker updated the day of my interview. I first received the status checker the day after I submitted my application (I think...).

Just had my interview. Many of the questions that were mentioned above minus a few. Good luck to everyone who still has to do their interviews!

Interview is tomorrow with a 3L. I'm actually somewhat excited, I haven't decided if that's a good or bad thing, but time will tell. This whole law school thing is getting very serious :)

I have an interview coming up soon, too. For those of you who have already done the interview - were you asked a question you weren't expecting?

I'm imagining that I'll be asked to talk about my job, why I want to go to law school, why Northwestern, what my goals are, etc. Anything out of the ordinary I should think about ahead of time?

Is it likely that any decisions will be released before mid-December? Last year's thread seems to point to no...

How do you handle stress? How do you handle mistakes? Tell us a time you had a hard time with someone at work or school and how you resolved it

As someone a few years out of UG (and as this is Northwestern) I was surprised to get asked why I chose my UG, but that's not a hard question, is it? It was a pretty easy/enjoyable conversation. (Wasn't with a 3L though, fwiw, but an adcomm over Skype.)

Do we get status checkers for NU? I don't see one in my inbox history and don't recall receiving one.

Interview finished!

Almost all the questions I got asked were in interview thread - there was one that I wasn't I think but it was so naturally fit in that I don't even remember what it was anymore. Hopefully it went well!

PM me for more specifics
