I looked through last year's thread, and it seems like the first received was also 9/23. First complete looks like 9/26.

Yeah. Though with either, the thought that you could know you were in at Harvard in two months time... shivers. That is pretty much the best case scenario for my cycle. The amount of stress that wouldn't have to be undergone!w0w wrote:well hopefully this year will look a little more like last year and a little less like the year before.xylocarp wrote:yep. some further info from the OP:psychmusic wrote:App received here as well-

I use to use Dream Weaver to make websites and what not and everytime I'd open it up I couldn't help but start singing that song.Dream_weaver32 wrote:That's what I meant, no one has mentioned itLSATneurotic wrote:Or maybe just the first to comment on it?Dream_weaver32 wrote:

True story, I had the executable for Dream Weaver also launch a .wav of a portion of the Dream Weaver song. I found it funny long, long after those around me did.CyanIdes Of March wrote:I use to use Dream Weaver to make websites and what not and everytime I'd open it up I couldn't help but start singing that song.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
guys what are you guys putting for the writing sample section?
I assume people who wrote theses are describing those, but what about those of us who haven't?
are you guys just picking a random college paper?

I didn't put anything. I feel like I read somewhere that they're not just looking for typical undergrad papers, only theses, published research, etc... but I don't remember where I read that so take it with a grain of salt ofclawschoolplease1 wrote:guys what are you guys putting for the writing sample section?

oh I didn't realize we could just click "this section does not apply to me"
hmmmm that does make sense. why would they care about a term paper.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Exactly. If you read the question carefully, it's pretty clear to me that they only want serious papers like honors theses/dissertations, etc, not some random research paper you did for a college class.lawschoolplease1 wrote:xylocarp wrote:I didn't put anything. I thought the same thing but when I asked KB she said to absolutely put term papers with extensive research involved.ikethegremlin wrote:Exactly. The issue is that they only give us 300 characters. That's maybe enough space to list two papers and give a little background about them. Maybe.w0w wrote:

This! I actually had four papers but ended up putting only tree and it basically read: "I had three papers the topics were as follows-"
Better worded than that of course but it was very general and brief.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
