still 12/3 complete.

finally some movement. another complete today.
was stuck at 12/2 until just now. i'm actually flying out to boston next week to check out BU and was hoping to know by then. If not, I'm wondering if I should make an appt with an admissions officer. Or, is the general consensus that it doesn't really make a different in admissions...

I had one, I really enjoyed it, and it got me excited about the school. As to whether it helps with your chances, I don't know. I was accepted with below median numbers with a large scholarship, but I am a URM also. I'd say it can't hurt and worst thing that happens is you get to see the school and have a nice conversation!

Applied 1/8, went complete 1/10. My third and fourth date updates were yesterday and today. I'm a little concerned that the date changed on back to back days and I haven't heard anything. Any insight?

Seems like they call with acceptances around 2:00 EST--maybe you'll hear something this afternoon?

Should come in your admissions packet. But, I think it can also come later.

Two days, but I live in Boston so that may not be the best predictor.

Congrats to everyone with acceptances so far! I submitted my app on 12/19 and BU (along with BC) is one of my absolute top choices. Still playing the waiting game with no movement since 12/24.

Thanks for the info guys, eagerly awaiting this packet lol. I love the BU mascot, terriers are an amazing dog breed. Totally a key metric for deciding between schools.

Is getting multiple UR date changes a good sign or does everyone get those (even those who will later be rejected)? MY UR date has changed four times I think (I am stuck at 1/10).

Interesting that you went complete before scores were posted. BU's policy is to hold the app with any pending retakes.
