BC and Emory are only schools outside the T14 that haven't looked at my application. Why so slow!

Guys, how absurd would it be to do a train and/or commute from Prov RI to Boston for much of the school week to save on COA? It's about a 40 min train ride. I get the impression it'd hinder my LS performance big time, and that if anything, I should consider it 2L and 3L but be around BC for sure for 1L due to its relative importance. I've been to Boston many times but never under the pressure to get to LS! I have a stepbro that lives near BC and perhaps a night or two per week staying there would manage to make things easier. I'm not seriously considering it but it'd make LS immensely cheaper. The tradeoff, of course, is how it'd likely decrease the quality of my work.

Don't do it man, it would be a 40 minute train ride to Boston. However BC is quite a commute from the station. (I went to undergrad there so I know this from experience.)

Also I'm still stuck in "complete" since November.

I got admitted 7 weeks after submitting my app.

the financial aid memos they send out after admission mention that scholarship notification was supposed to start at the end of January. Has anyone heard anything yet?

waitlisted today after going UR 2/6. hoping that I will get a decision for sure either way before other schools require deposits. that would be a tough position to be in. i don't have financial aid information yet from anywhere either and it doesn't make sense to speculate but once again hoping i'm not going to have to give up on standing offers to chase a waitlist (which i'll reasonably still admit is a longshot).

I'm experiencing the opposite. Admitted to BC about a month after submitting but have been complete/UR at BU for about 3 months.

At this point it seems like none of us will get in before the last ASW. I wonder if they will schedule an additional one in August

I can't even find info on the ASW, searched around the site. I hope it's not terribly obvious, which would make me feel pretty dumb haha...
