I have no clue why someone with your numbers hasn't been admitted with big $$$ yet. No. Clue.lawschool22 wrote:Nope. Thanks, OSU for shitting on your deadline. Lost all respect for you. Why offer "early admission" if you aren't going to honor it?

Never would I have thought OSU would take three full months to give an in state applicant with good numbers any kind of response.

tbh I've never been that enamored with OSU generally in many respects. This just adds to that.jk148706 wrote:Never would I have thought OSU would take three full months to give an in state applicant with good numbers any kind of response.

I applied regular decision. I don't even want to know how long it will take...
I've essentially already moved on, unless OSU offers something I don't expect them to.

I'm with you brother. I've lost a lot of respect for the school because of the way they've handled admissions as well as stories from friends that go there. In a couple years we might be looking at TTThe ohio state university...ohioguy99 wrote:I applied regular decision. I don't even want to know how long it will take...

Re: OSU Moritz c/o 2017
For those of you still waiting, feel free to call them up to check in. Do so politely, of course, but sometimes nudging helps. Also, one of my friends suspects they lost her application. They got back to her super late but within a day of her following up.
OSU really needs to step up its game with admissions/recruiting. Even though I received my acceptance in November, I still felt they didn't care about as much my going there as other schools did. (For example, not only did IUB offer a very generous scholarship, but my acceptance came with a handwritten met that referenced my personal statement!). I only chose it for personal reasons, and even then a bit begrudgingly.
But, once you're there, the experience is much better. The registrar and financial aid guru are top notch and really helpful. At least 3 of the career services counselors are stellar. And because the classes are small? It's easy to create a name for yourself there.
The university red tape is a mess, of course, but I don't really have to deal with anyone outside of the law school with any regularity. It mostly just came up with student org funding drama.

Wow, received my acceptance letter. It's in a single envelope with a poorly written single sheet of paper. No packets. No financial information. Nothing about the law school. Absolutely disappointing. Even the instructions to accept are vague, and the pdf they link you to isn't helpful.
Alright so pointed out below that this isn't the only thing I should receive. I retract my statement.

14 weeks since I submitted. No decision.
Legit tOSU was the first school I applied to, and they are the last to get back to me.
