I should've gone to pick up my package from the fedex center. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.

The acceptance packages are mailed via Fed-Ex, and it arrives 2 business days after the status changes to "Decision Mailed." It's a giant binder/folder with a lot of information about the school. It's pretty epic and awesome. It's apparently 5 lbs, so people have been checking with Fed-Ex to see if they have a 5 lbs package from Vanderbilt coming their way.scoobers wrote:What is this mail thing? To my knowledge everyone who so far has had a decision mailed has gotten in. Not sure when in the year that's going to start changing, but I don't think we're there yet.

Packet is extremely thick. I like the bumper sticker.

Thank you both! op has been updated :]Keicar wrote:Just to add on - Fedex will automatically notify you when the package is sent to your address if you're signed up for Fedex Delivery Manager. If you do not have this account, you can also call Fedex customer service and they will tell you if you have a package in route to your address (and the weight of that package).ZipWhenSheMoves wrote:The acceptance packages are mailed via Fed-Ex, and it arrives 2 business days after the status changes to "Decision Mailed." I requested an alumni interview more than two weeks ago and have yet to hear back. I emailed admissions the last two days but have not heard back. Is Vandy ignoring me !?!?

sooooo looking through LSN says that I should be complete (or at least have gotten an incomplete email if I'm missing something), but I'm still in "application received." does it stay this way until interviews, and how long do they take to process interview requests?

Had my alumni interview, thought I'd speak about it quickly. It was at a Starbucks around town, pretty laid back. Brought a hard copy of my resume just in case, probably a good idea.
Really just standard questions though: why UG major, why UG school, why Vanderbilt, why law, asked about a couple of my work experiences. Had a few questions lined up for the alumni, but person was really excited to sell the school and talk about it.
