I think GW either hates me or has forgotten about my application. My numbers should make me a pretty competitive applicant, or so i thought, but I haven't had any updated since going complete on 11/14. Now people with significantly lower numbers who applied way later than me are starting to get in. This is getting pretty frustrating...

In nearly the exact same position! Was complete early November and then one additional complete update last week ... nothing in between or since.

Did not write the optional essay.

Same boat... I'm pretty annoyed. I've been complete since 11/12. I'm in at WASHU and that's holding me over for now but I'm very confused.

lol I'm in the same situation except with WUSTL. Been complete since 11/15 and haven't heard anything for a month.

Re the above discussion, I've been complete with zero movement since 11/6. But I did no optional essays or anything, so I suppose this might be YP in case I withdraw app or something (3.8+ and 172+)

Same with the movement, but I'm slightly below medians so I figured that's why. I did the optional essay.

I had an initial complete date in late October then an update on 11/6 with nothing since. I'm at the median LSAT and between 25th and median GPA, so definitely a reach for me.

For you, it's probably pretty important. I think they are trying to see how much you actually want to go to GW since you have high numbers.

I was under the impression that GW ED was not rolling... How badly did I hurt my chances by applying so late? (recently)

Not for me. Looking back through last year's thread, it seems like many deferrals from ED to RD were emalied the first full week of January. Those deferrals were shortly followed by a mixed bag of decisions. So we shall see.
