Yup, me too. It's not too bad I suppose, considering falling apps and all. I imagine they also know if you're former ED.

Nerve racking. I wasn't sure if I missed a status update or not, until I saw the one today. Now I'm checking my email frantically for a rejection. From reading the board posts, it looks like the decision gets sent out the day of the 3rd status update. Email = ED deferral or rejection. Mail = accepted.

My impression is that once that third status date happens that your decision has been made, but I'm definitely not an expert.

Yeah, it seems that way. Initial complete date, update 1, then update 2 is when your decision is mailed.
Mine went complete 9/25, complete 10/11, complete 10/15 and that's when my letter was postmarked.

I think interview requests throw this off though. I'm on status number 4: initial complete date, update 1, update 2 same day I got a group interview request, and then status update 3 same day I got a alumni interview request.

Had my group interview yesterday. Went really well. Echoing what someone else said about an earlier interview, Dean Cornblatt said that decisions for my group would be coming "very shortly."

With regards to status date changes. I had one when I went complete and another at the end of September. No movement since, not even after I accepted the interview request last week.

Nah, couldn't do either of the group interviews in DC, so they hooked me up with an alumni interview.

For people with alumni interviews, how long did it take for the interview to be scheduled from the time you responded to the original email requesting an interview? I go the original interview request a week ago, responded immediately, and haven't heard anything since. Seems odd.

I got my original request on the 15th, and the alumni I interviewed with contacted me Monday night. I didn't hear anything else from the admissions office after I responded to them.

Did the group interview yesterday. I thought it was good and fun. Got a thank you email this morning (of course I immediately thought it was a quick rejection email lol). Now I am neurotically checking the status checker to see if I get any date updates.
