I got in before Thanksgiving (in-state) and got a scholarship letter yesterday. It was not in my "Welcome Pack".

Got rejected today, it was my first. UTexas was kinda a reach, but I thought I'd apply anyway. Numbers are 166 3.4x. I applied around the end of September. Congrats to all who got in and good luck to everyone still waiting.

In via phone call just now. Submitted around 10/12, complete around 10/14 or 10/15. Good luck everyone! Out of state (although attend UG in Texas). They said scholly info was on its way and that I got something, but that they couldn't release over the phone.

Graduated undergrad in spring 2012. Softs were nothing special, I was a teacher's aide for a year in undergrad and since graduation I've been working for an environmental nonprofit group that focuses mainly on litigation to achieve its goals.

Wow, that's awesome. UT making it rain this cycle perhaps? Or maybe it'll all be relative when they jack the tuition up on all of us?

Take this with a grain of salt, but I believe they have around 15 full rides. It has been quite some time since I visited, but something in my mind is telling me that's the number. And in my discussion about schollys, there seemed to be a lot more opportunities as well.

So I think you've got a good shot. Also, my offer is not monetary, but rather tied to tuition and fees plus a stipend. So even if tuition goes up, covering x% of tuition leaves you in at least close to the same spot.

I'm already at UT. Last cycle I was given 20K (and I'm in state). Looks like they are offering similar numbers more money. That's all I meant.
