You're cutting it really close there. I'd call as well just to keep the pressure on them to move things along. Also, don't believe you're being annoying. This is important to you, and you should do your best to demonstrate that to them.JKrolRU wrote:Still On the waitlist, being considered for the may program too. Was this a personal email or just to everyone? I think they sent one out to everyone about a week ago.LSX_Nut wrote:JKrolRU wrote:Still On the waitlist, being considered for the may program too. No update, looks like I'll be riding out the wait list until summer, I graduate in 2 weeks from undergrad, so hoping my new grades, will boost my LSAC GPA, maybe that will give me a bump in the admission process

Re: Cardozo C/O 2017 Applicants Thread (2013 - 2014 Cycle)
I am writing to provide you with an update on your candidacy for admission to Cardozo School of Law. At present, our entering class is almost completely full, and although our Admissions Committee has recognized you as a strong candidate, we are unfortunately unable to act on your application at this time.
We have thus decided to hold your application and give you priority consideration for admission to Cardozo should seats and scholarship funding become available in the coming weeks.
While we are unable to predict the final outcome of your candidacy, please know that you are one of a very small number of applicants in this special category, and that our Committee will continue to give your application every possible consideration for admission.
We encourage you to inform us if you wish to continue being considered for a seat this fall.

Re: Cardozo C/O 2017 Applicants Thread (2013 - 2014 Cycle)
Hey all,
I am starting to get into some other schools off waitlist. I put my refundable $400 seat deposit down at Cardozo, who is offering me 38K/year.
I just got into BU off waitlist with 20k/year, and BC off waitlist (still waiting for admin packet), and still hoping to get in off waitlists at Fordham and GW with scholarship hopefully.
What do you guys think about Cardozo with 38K/year vs. BU with 20k/year?

BU tuition = $46K/year - your $20K = $26K/year in tuition alone. Total = $78K in tuition (not including COL).theMasterofBiotech wrote:What do you guys think about Cardozo with 38K/year vs. BU with 20k/year?
Cardozo tuition = $51K/year - your $38K = $13K/year in tuition alone. Total = $39K in tuition (not including COL).
COL of New York and Boston are roughly the same.
Also depends on whether you want to practice in New York or Boston. If you want BigLaw, you have a much better shot at it coming out of BU, but the odds aren't that great from either school.

Got WL'ed on Thursday even though I have what's usually considered T14 numbers (LSAT > 170, GPA > 3.9). I guess that's a statement of intent (or lack thereof) from Cardozo.

They must essentially have a full class of commits then. When you apply matters just as much or more than your numbers - that's been proven time and time again. I wouldn't be surprised if they put you at the top of the wait list, though.FisterRoboto wrote:Got WL'ed on Thursday even though I have what's usually considered T14 numbers (LSAT > 170, GPA > 3.9).
