I was there yesterday. I was surprised at how small the law school building is, but it's absolutely beautiful and Penn's campus is amazing. It's also in the middle of Penn's campus which I really like.Robbin Blue wrote:Just finished my Why Penn essay, excited to apply today. anyone else notice the increased amount of posts in this thread since yesterday and get nervous that it was decision day before actually clicking the thread?

Nice! How is the campus? I've read about how the school is supposed to be pretty laid back, but I'm not sure what that means, comparatively speaking.jingosaur wrote:I was there yesterday. There's an actual quad and the central part of the campus doesn't have roads. There are also a lot of small, very old buildings on the campus that will have like 1 or 2 classrooms and I thought it was pretty awesome. There was a row of bars and restaurants near the law school. I was there for an interview on a different part of the campus so I didn't stick around the law school building for long though. Penn was my #1 choice for undergrad so I'm super biased, but it's a nice campus.Robbin Blue wrote:Nice! How is the campus? I'm sure the current students can be more in-depth.

The campus is amazing! And beautiful! West Philly is sketch, but the Penn campus itself is a bubble of blissRobbin Blue wrote:Nice! How is the campus? I went there for undergrad, loved the diversity (both in terms of people and academics), loved being on the outskirts of a big city, but within a school bubble. Penn police are great! Philly restaurants are stupendous! They just renovated the law school! The law school library is nice and the Fisher Fine Arts library is gorgeous!
If my significant other didn't live in NYC, Penn would definitely be my number one choice. It's amazing

One of my favorite Penn videos is below. Seeing it in person was 10x better.

The most important thing is that there's a shake shack a couple blocks from campus.
