FWIW, I got the "decision made" status yesterday and I received the acceptance email early this morning. So if you were accepted I'd suspect you should receive an email tomorrow. Also FWIW, I had the deposit numbers show up on my status checker.jk148706 wrote:So how long until we can expect an email??

So despite the blurb that they do not send email notifications of decisions...they do in fact send emails the next day? This is obviously confusing. I really hope that I wasn't rejected, lol. Good luck everybody!

It is too close to Christmas! I would expect that Notre Dame would at least wait until after the holiday for thatmanuadferrum wrote:So despite the blurb that they do not send email notifications of decisions...they do in fact send emails the next day? Haha yeah, I did find that confusing. I'm assuming the meaning behind that is that they won't email applicants their decision if the applicant emails them asking for it. I've heard of similar statements on other law school status checkers despite the fact that they also email out decisions. I'm not sure if they also email out rejections/waitlists the next day or just acceptances. I don't recall reading any post on here where someone was rejected/waitlisted via email.manuadferrum wrote:So despite the blurb that they do not send email notifications of decisions...they do in fact send emails the next day? THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME. Im guessing since I haven't gotten the email yet its either a rejection or wait list..I'd be honored just to get the wait list, but we will see...
PS. Congrats to recent admits, and gl to those waiting

I submitted back in October and I went complete 11/20... sat at that date until yesterday in which decision was made.

There are a couple people on LSN who report being accepted today.

Had a my second complete update today. Originally complete 12/3....
any ideas what this might mean? Pretty strong candidate with a 164 and 3.65, above average softs.

Based on earlier posts in the thread, it looks like people are receiving their emails the morning after their "Decision Made" status. I think the people who were already accepted on LSN today are the people who had "Decision Made" yesterday and were accepted this morning.jk148706 wrote:Anyone get an email yet?

This is correct. My status changed to "decision made" yesterday and then around 8am today I received an acceptance email. It seems like if you're accepted you'll receive an email the next day, or at least that's what it seems like up to this point.lawskewl13 wrote:Based on earlier posts in the thread, it looks like people are receiving their emails the morning after their "Decision Made" status. If it makes any of you feel any better, NDLS is a big reach for me and I've had my update changed to "Decision Made" without the seat deposit numbers being changed. I'm bracing for a denial, and it makes sense that the numbers aren't reflecting the "next step" so to say in the admissions process. So if you've had them changed, you're probably in good shape!

Do not count yourself out of the running friend! I have a low lsat score, am non-urm, and nothing amazing that has made me drastically stand out. I have already gotten into a top 20 school and have been accepted to others despite being out of the lsat range. Hard work can pay off! I wish everyone the best of luck tomorrow morning or in the future!PalmBay wrote:If it makes any of you feel any better, NDLS is a big reach for me and I've had my update changed to "Decision Made" without the seat deposit numbers being changed. Thanks for the offer...I hope finals aren't too bad. I have two questions for you:kyle010723 wrote:Congratulation on everyone that've been accepted. I'm still trying to survive finals, but do feel free to let me know if there is anything I may be able to answer for you.
1) Can you explain the journal situation at ND? How many people grade on vs. write on for law review (and how does that process work at ND specifically)? If you don't make the cut for law review, are people generally able to land another journal?
2) This is not relevant to law school, but what's the deal with those golf courses? Are they nice, do ND students get discounts, etc.? What kind of other recreational activities are available to law students?
Thanks again. ND is one of my top choices, and I have a feeling that I will end up there next fall.

Did anyone who recently applied fast-track receive a follow-up email yet?

Law Review is the only one that has grade-on, invitation is extended to the top 15 1L (according to their GPA, ND does not rank). 10 spots may be available via write on. All other journals are write-on. Same write-on paper for all of them, but two of them require an addition statement of interest.hos9903 wrote: Thanks for the offer...I hope finals aren't too bad. ND has two golf courses, an 18 hole and a 9 I think. And students do get a student rate. SBA had a golf outing this Fall.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
